What is Babylon?
Historically and Spiritually Elucidated

Introduction
Having made mention of Babylon on numerous occasions in our previous articles, we thought it necessary to publish an essay on the subject. In this article, we will endeavour to elucidate historical and spiritual Babylon in both sacred and profane history, as well as in Bible prophecy—specifically through the Book of Revelation.
Let’s get started.
Biblical Meaning of the Name
‘Babel’ and ‘Babylon’,1 as well as similar words such as babble2 and babbling,3 are mentioned 300+ times throughout the Bible. The name ‘Babel’ is only used in the first and second of collective mentions,4 after which ‘Babylon’ replaces it. Its first mention is in Genesis 10:10, and in the second5 we read of the city and tower of Babel and are given the meaning of its name.
Let’s read verses 1-9 together to understand this picture:
And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; (H8152) and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; (H894) because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
So Jehovah named that great city and tower Babel, because it was in this place that He ‘confounded’ the one language of all the earth. Prior to this confusion of tongues, ‘the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.’6 So Babel, or Babylon, literally signifies confusion or disorder; (see also abash, perplex, overthrow, destroy, tumultuous). This point of confusion and disorder will become significant later.
Now in verse 6, we read something of particular interest:
And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
The children of Babel, being of one single language, had become unified as one people—bound together by a common goal. What was that shared goal?
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
The children of Babel together purposed in their hearts to build a tower whose top would reach heaven. Now there are two possibilities as to which heaven they were referring to:
the very abode of God (above the firmament), OR
where the celestial bodies revolve (right below the firmament).
Now on one hand, in having a knowledge of Biblical cosmology, we understand that the firmament is impenetrable. However, we also must not negate the word of God, which says, ‘and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.’7 So we can understand this in but two ways: literally and spiritually.
The children of Babel purposed together in their hearts to elevate themselves to the place of God, and since this is not literally, physically possible, the place of God takes the meaning of rank or level (of order; class), i.e., in power or authority. What is God’s power and authority? As the Creator of the heaven, and the earth, and all that is in them, He is the sovereign of the universe. The very act itself of building the tower was an act of defiance and rebellion, and thus a challenge of Jehovah’s sovereignty. So we are to understand that the tower of Babel, in rejection of God’s supreme authority, was an endeavour of man inspired by Satan to be like God (in terms of sovereignty).
At the same time, however, because they were in fact building a physical tower of tremendous height and stature, we are to understand their intention as to reach the stars of God just below the firmament, in other words, as high-reaching as physically possible.
A Brief History
One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to shew the king of Babylon that his city is taken at one end,

Ancient Babylonia was founded around the late 22nd or early 21st century BC. Ancient Babylon, or the First Babylonian Empire, was sacked by the Hittite military campaign led by king Mursili I in the 15th century BC. The Second Babylonian Empire (also known as the Neo-Babylonian Empire, or the Chaldean Empire) was captured by Cyrus II after having slain Belshazzar during the 5th century BC. Then Cyrus the Great, king of Persia, in his first year (539 BC) appointed Darius the Mede “king over the realm of the Chaldeans” according to Daniel 9:1.
The beginning of the city and tower of Babel is the point of history in which the occult Mysteries have their origin. All the Mysteries, as well as every single exoteric religion taking form after their likeness in a watered-down manner, each seemingly having their own unique pantheon of gods (and each classically associated with some celestial body and ruling over an element or facet of human nature) are in fact the very same gods worshipped in Babylon and Egypt.
In a poem published in The Daily Post of London on February 15, 1723, entitled “The Free Masons: A Hudibrastick Poem”, a freemason writes:
IF Hist-ry be no ancient Fable
Free Masons came from Tower of Babel;
While we can reason this from Scripture alone, there are many primary occult sources, being ‘adept initiates’ of, for example, Freemasonry (men) or The Order of the Eastern Star (women) whom have attested to their origins resting in Babel and the Babylonian Mysteries. Thus, you might say that Nimrod was both the first ‘Mason’ and ‘Grand Master’, despite the fact that his father Cush and grandfather Ham are sometimes more respected by many occultists.
Nimrod was also the founder of Erech, Accad, Calneh, Ashur, Nineveh, Rehoboth, Calah, and Resen.8
Around 1700 A.D., however, these Masonic organizations had begun to adopt a new view of their origins (at least insofar as they were permitted to disclose), because they were—“concerned with social respectability and had no desire to threaten the establishment,” and therefore “finally rejected the ‘Legend of the Craft’ which honoured the Tower of Babel, a pagan edifice constructed in open defiance of heaven.”9
It is for this reason that recent occult literature of the past three centuries far more often than not trace their origins only as far back as Egypt. This makes but little difference for the student of history, knowing that the Egyptian Mysteries originate from Babylon. The Hermetic tradition, for example, only traces Hermes back to Egypt where he was deified as Thoth, despite the fact that he can be traced back one step further. Though many associate Thoth/Hermes/Mercury with the Babylonian Marduk, it’s more likely that he was the Babylonian Nabû, the son of Marduk in the Enūma Eliš. The Enūma Eliš associates Marduk with Bel, i.e., Belus, which is Cush, thus making Hermes the Greek equivalent of the Babylonian Marduk, but this seems to contradict scripture; see Isaiah 46:1 and Jeremiah 50:2; these verses may imply that Nebo (Nabû), Bel, and Merodach are one in the same (this Babylonian Nabû is called Nebo in the Bible, the son of Ham). In fact, every single mystery tradition has their origins, directly or indirectly, in Babylon, and furthermore, their origins in the prognosticated philosophy of the serpent in the Garden of Eden, who whispered that magic spell unto Eve, saying “ye shall be as gods.”
The Web of Astrotheology
The Mysteries are best understood in terms of generations, in the same way that Matthew gave us ‘the book of the generation of Jesus Christ’, tracing His lineage to Abraham, or how that Luke traced His generations all the way back to God. With this in mind, the Mysteries may be further considered as a constellation; i.e., an interwoven constellation of mystery traditions and religions, secret societies, orders and organizations, government agencies and institutions, and so on.
The Mysteries, in all their generations, were originally born out of Astrotheology, likely of Hermes Trismegistus (i.e., the worship of heavenly bodies as deities, also called Stellar Theology). Regardless of whether or not astrotheology began with Hermes (i.e., Cush), that the Egyptian mystery schools came out of Babylonian astrotheology is doubtless.
Out of these mystery schools came the Vedic religion, the Druidic mysteries, and traditional witchcraft. From the Vedic mysteries came Upanishadism, Mithraism, and Zoroastrianism, as well as Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. From the Druidic mysteries came Neoplatonism, the Pythagorean schools, and the Orphic mysteries. On the other hand, from Pharaseism came Talmudic Judaism and Kabbalah (these alongside those prior mentioned each culminated in Gnosticism). From Talmudic Judaism and Kabbalah came Catholicism, Islam, The Knights Templar, The Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), the Rosicrucians, the Banking Goliath, and Zionism. All of these, each also being centred on Gnosticism, share something else in common—you guessed it: Freemasonry.
From Freemasonry, created and controlled by the Jesuits, came the Illuminati (May 1, 1776), which in charge of democratic revolutions (e.g. the American Revolution; French Revolution) through Hegelian dialectics,10 orchestrated desired social changes (e.g. the Declaration of Independence; First French Republic, the Napoleonic Code) by maintaining information control. Likewise, from the Illuminati came Theosophy and thus the New Age, which brought forth the United Nations, Thelema, Wicca, and the O.T.O. (Ordo Templi Orientis), as well as Scientology and many more.
Then, from Freemasonry we also have the Royal Society (The Royal Society of London for Improving Natural Knowledge), which led to Modern Psychology and ‘Science’ (Scientism), Atheism, Communism, Marxism, and Humanism. Facilitated by the Rosicrucians, modern psychology and science (which are not ‘new’ but are nothing more than exoteric;11 publicly suitable externalizations of ancient esoteric philosophy/mysticism—e.g., Darwinism is simply the exoteric/watered down version of the occult philosophy of becoming) brought forth MI6 (the Secret Intelligence Service), the OSS (Office of Strategic Services) which became the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), which led to the Tavistock Institute (The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations), MKULTRA and all its sub-projects (at least 149 sub-programs in fields ranging from psychology, biology, pharmacology, and trauma-based programming/mind control) such as MONARCH and MKOFTEN, and again, many more.
Note:
MK-ULTRA did not end, its methods became part of Monarch programming (Designer programming/Marionette syndrome). The methods have progressed in accordance with advancements in technology. Monarch programming involves the intentional creation of dissociated identities or DID (dissociative identity disorder) within a person through trauma, hypnosis, and pharmaceuticals/drugs starting in early childhood, and includes scripts, maps and triggers. The goal is to fracture the mind and control the individual by creating ‘alters’ (disassociated identities) to carry out specific tasks without any memory of doing them. Such an individual has the ability to operate in society completely undetected, to keep the secrets of their trauma, and conceal the identity of the programmer. ‘Serial killers’ in the U.S. are victims of Monarch mind control. Other victims of Monarch programming include celebrities, news anchors & talk show hosts, politicians, athletes, astronauts, and many more.
The Influence of the Mysteries
Now that we’ve established how that the Mysteries originate from Satan’s promise, ‘ye shall be as gods’, (i.e., the mystery of becoming your own god), leading to the tower of Babel and stellar theology (astrotheology), we now have a vivid picture of the interconnectedness of the Mysteries, their orchestrated ‘offshoots’ and effects throughout the world, and their vast and all-encompassing influence upon man. With this in mind, every single ‘personality’ from birth has been moulded by Babylon.
The Black Nobility
The Black Nobility, or Black Aristocracy (i.e., the Roman or Phoenician Nobility; i.e., the descendants of Ham), and the Jesuits are very much connected. The Jesuits, by the hidden hand of the Superior General (the Black Pope), are believed by many to be in control of absolutely everything, and while in a sense this is true, even they are ultimately owned and controlled by the Black Nobility (which also owns the Knights of Malta and the Cosa Nostra, i.e., the Mafia). The Black Nobility is an elite network of Papal bloodlines (such as Aldobrandini, Borgia, Breakspeare, Chigi, Colonna, Conti, Este, Farnese, Medici, Ornisi, Pallavinci, Pamphili, and Somaglia)12 which ultimately control the world under the prince of the power of the air. The majority of the Black Nobility are Vatican Royalty, primarily living in Venice and Genoa, Italy (the word ‘Venetian’ has replaced Phoenician). Their name, ‘Black Nobility’, is a reference to the ‘left hand path’ of magical systems (called black magic), as opposed to the ‘right hand path’ (called white magic).
The Jesuits
The Jesuits over many centuries have accrued great power and influence over society. Ultimately, however, while the Jesuits (and all secret societies beneath them – e.g., the Freemasons) whether knowingly or unknowingly answer to the Superior General: the Black Pope—the Black Pope, answers to and carries out the orders of the Black Nobility. The Black Nobility, then, is truly the invisible third party and primary agency of Satan that rules the world. Every single facet of the system of shared reality which the Black Nobility have meticulously constructed around us are part of spiritual Babylon. This is not to downplay the role of the Jesuits by any means, for they’re most significant in this hierarchy after the Black Nobility.
Disney and Hollywood
Back to black vs white magic. This can be observed in all Disney movies, as well as most others (such as Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars). In these films, the ‘light side’ wields magic, a dualistic energy source called ‘the force’ for ‘good’, whereas the dark side wields it for evil. Following the ‘Hero’s Journey’—which is based on the Tarot’s 22 Major Arcana cards (from beginning of the journey, ‘The Fool’, to the completion of the journey, ‘The World’, spanning the path of so called ‘gnosis’ or ‘enlightenment’),—the ‘light side’ in these stories always overcomes the dark. The Minor Arcana is also used in storytelling to the purpose of world building, character development, plot twists and thematic exploration. Nearly all movies use this structure in tandem with other hypnotic tactics such as NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) alongside other methods to program the viewer.
The CIA and Edward Bernays
The CIA is often involved in Hollywood films, effectively becoming co-producers in them. Hollywood also employs the techniques of the pioneer of propaganda—Sigmund Freud’s nephew, Edward Bernays (also known as “the father of public relations”), both within films and the marketing of them (such as emotional manipulation, subliminal messaging and social engineering). Bernays wrote four notable books: Crystallizing Public Opinion (1923), Propaganda (1928), Public Relations (1945) and The Engineering of Consent (1955).
For a prime example of Edward Bernays’ intersection with the CIA regarding public relations, propaganda and covert operations, search on a non-Google search engine—e.g., Brave, with key references: “Edward Bernays”, “CIA-orchestrated”, “United Fruit Company”, “Operation PBSuccess” and “Middle America Information Bureau” (MAIB).
The White Nobility
Back to the Nobility. On the previous note, there is also a White Nobility called the Merovingian Nobility, which are not Italian Royalty, but rather Egyptian, French, and British Royalty. The Merovingian bloodline is a mixture of the Benjamites, Meroites of Ancient Egypt, Philistine giants, the Amalekites, and the Edomites of the House of Esau and Ishmael. The White Nobility portray themselves as ‘benevolent’, especially in contrast with the Black Nobility (which is extremely malevolent), but this is just an illusion of dialectics. Neither pole on this axis is good; both sides stand in total opposition to God and Christ; both belong to Satan.
The Hegelian Dialectic
Hegelian dialectics—named after Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770 – 1831), who was a German philosopher and a Hermeticist—is the great apparatus employed by the Black Nobility and the Jesuits for the purpose of achieving their goals. The general idea is thesis → antithesis → synthesis (or problem, reaction, solution). Essentially, you intentionally create a problem in order to gain a desired reaction for the purpose of achieving the planned solution all along. Dialectics are based primarily on two Hermetic principles: mental transmutation and polarity, as well as the principle of gender. The principle of polarity states that all opposites are identical in nature, only different in degree. One example of this is the occult philosophy of from dark to light, which is based in Luciferian duality. This “light” is false light.13 Remember, “God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.”14 You might think of it this way: in Luciferian duality, you have two poles (like hot and cold, lead and gold, or dark and light) conjoined together by an axis. Satan is on the left pole (dark) and Lucifer is on the right pole (light). According to this philosophy, a change or pole shift in polarity occurs via mental transmutation—there are two steps in this process of facilitating a pole shift:
Awareness
Inversion
At the highest occult levels, this process of mental transmutation looks like awareness → inversion → union, which is called the balancing of opposites. This process is utilized to orchestrate all world events, giving the appearance that they have occurred organically. As Manly P. Hall wrote in ‘The Secret Destiny of America’, “Dialectics are not accomplished by the people, but through the people.” The ‘new world order’, ‘the great reset’ etc., which is more appropriately called the dark world order, is likely just the thesis (problem) utilized in order to reach the synthesis (solution): the ‘light world order’, the ‘Age of Aquarius’, or the ‘Golden Age’, which is the magnum opus of the Mysteries. This is also known as the ‘pure doctrine of Lucifer’15 according to freemason Albert Pike and ‘the externalization of the hierarchy’ by theosophist Alice Bailey, which are simply different names ultimately referring to the same idea: the initiation of the whole world into the Mysteries.
Mystery: Babylon
Let’s now take a look at Babylon in the Book of Revelation, starting with John’s first mention of it in the second angel’s message:
And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
Throughout scripture, the term ‘Babylon’ represents false or apostate religion. ‘Wine’ in bible prophecy is a symbol for false doctrine. So whoever this Babylon is (which we must discern from the context), she makes the whole world intoxicated by the false doctrine of the wrath of her fornication. Her fornication is of a figurative nature rather than a literal one, signifying spiritual fornication. Thus, this false doctrine is a product of spiritual lawlessness, immorality or abomination (i.e., without the law of God).
The Protestant Churches
The Harlot Daughters of Babylon the Great
Now the fact that this Babylon is fallen implies that she was once pure (or not fallen), but has become corrupt. Therefore, the Babylon referred to in the second angel’s message is not a catchall term for false religion, but a particular religious body. One might immediately think that it must be Roman Catholicism, but the Catholic Church has been impure since her very inception. Protestantism as a whole, on the other hand, in having received the light of scripture sought to depart from the Babylon of the dark ages, fits perfectly. Rome’s daughters, being called harlots, signifies that these ‘daughters’ have become apostate; adulterers and adulteresses who have abandoned their first love. The Protestants profess with their mouths to belong to God and Christ, but their hearts are far from Him. So this wine of Babylon (whose name, mind you, signifies confusion and disorder), is indeed the false doctrine of the innumerable sects (denominations) of fallen Protestantism. Thus her great confusion, under the intoxicating spell of Rome’s sorceries, results in disorder in the churches.
In the year 1900, there were an estimated 1600 denominations. As of mid-2019, it was estimated that there are over 45,000 denominations worldwide. That same number was projected to surpass 49,000 by 2025. If only each professed follower of Christ would solemnly ruminate within themselves upon the question posited to the Church at Corinth: “Is Christ divided?”16 Certainly not! “For God is not the author of confusion.”17
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Now we know that all false doctrine, in other words—deception; sorcery, ultimately comes from who?
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:
From the beginning, the father of lies18 has always been the archdeceiver of the whole world. In Revelation 18, we read that Babylon has become a habitation of devils, the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.19 Furthermore, we read that all nations have drunk of “the wine of the wrath of her fornication,” that “the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her,” and that “the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.”20
In verse 11, we read:
And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
Who are the merchants of the earth? The mighty angel tells us in verse 23:
And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee… thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
The merchants are the great men of the earth, and “the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her”.21 Included in their great and costly array of merchandise which the great men of Babylon sold are the souls of men,22—that is to say, they sold the minds, the hearts, the affections, emotions and desires, and ultimately, the very lives of men. These are they that have been blinded by the god of this world, having fixed their attentions upon themselves and the treasures and delicacies of the earth, walking after their own lusts,23 allured by Satan and gone astray from their allegiance to God.
How many great men, be they nobles, members of secret societies, secular rulers, politicians, lawyers, doctors, or businessmen assume the name of ‘Christian’ and join a church, simply as a means to an end – i.e., to advance their own worldly interests? They do this because it gives them an air of respectability in society. Freemasons, for example, are encouraged to join churches not only to infiltrate and subvert (e.g., the Freemasons and the Southern Baptist Convention), but for this very reason as well. It’s a persona, superficially worn to merely to impress and gain the confidence of the world.
For example, Theosophist Alice Bailey (1880 - 1949) writes concerning both of these things—the plans being laid for the formation of a clandestine fifth column24 in the early 20th century to infiltrate and subvert protestant churches, and that a certain, acceptable external appearance must be upheld and preserved by such fifth columnists in order to successfully initiate church members into the New Age:
Very definitely may the assurance be given here that, prior to the coming of the Christ, adjustments will be made so that at the head of all great organizations will be found either a Master, or an initiate who has taken the third initiation. At the head of certain of the great occult groups, of the Freemasons of the world, and of the various great divisions of the church, and resident in many of the great nations will be found initiates or Masters.

The Christian church in its many branches can serve as a St. John the Baptist, as a voice crying in the wilderness, and as a nucleus through which world illumination may be accomplished. I indicate the hope. I do not assert a fact. Its work is intended to be the holding of a broad Platform. The church must show a wide tolerance, and teach no revolutionary doctrines or cling to any reactionary ideas. The church as a teaching factor should take the great basic doctrines and (shattering old forms in which they are held) show their true and inner spiritual significance. The prime work of the church is to teach, and to teach ceaselessly, preserving the outer appearance in order to reach the many who are accustomed to church usages. Teachers must be trained; Bible knowledge must be spread; the sacraments must be mystically interpreted, and the power of the church to heal must be demonstrated.
The three main channels through which the preparation for the new age is going on might be regarded as the Church, the Masonic Fraternity and the educational field. All of them are as yet in relatively static condition, and all are as yet failing to meet the need and to respond to the inner pressure. But in all of these three movements, disciples of the Great Ones are to be found and they are steadily gathering momentum and will before long enter upon their designated task.

The Catholic Church
“The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth”
In Revelation 17, we have Babylon represented as a woman, not as a virtuous woman, but a vile one. She is called “Babylon the great”,25 “the great whore”,26 and “the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth.”27 The Babylon thus represented is not fallen Protestantism, who we have identified as the harlot daughters of Rome. But this Babylon is in fact Rome herself, whose persecuting hands are full of the blood of saints and martyrs.
Common Doctrine
Between Papal Rome & Apostate Protestantism
There are four primary doctrines which apostate Protestantism have received directly from Rome: 1) the trinity, 2) Sunday sacredness (the pagan ‘venerable day of the sun’), 3) heliocentric cosmology and 4) the immortality of the soul (including eternal torment in hell). We have addressed each of these subjects in the associated articles linked above. Each of these doctrines are part of Babylon, and every true Christian must discern this for themselves, and become wholly separate from them.
The Undefiled Woman
In Revelation 12, we read about a wonder in heaven: “a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.” This woman signifies the pure and undefiled church, clothed in the light of heaven. Fleeing from the persecution of the papacy in the sixth century, during the rise to power of Papal Rome marking the beginning of the dark ages, this is the church which found refuge in wilderness for 1,260 days as foretold by Daniel and John.28
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
She is God’s church, holy and undefiled, as distinguished from the Catholic church, the great whore, and her harlot daughters, the apostate Protestant church. Belonging to this church are all they who have set themselves apart from Babylon, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ: which is the spirit of prophecy.29

Conclusion
Babylon is anything and everything of a worldly character; it is all that is not of God, nor of anything representative of His mind or character. Babylon is the origin and epicentre of all false religion. Spiritually, Babylon is symbolic of Rome, and representative of everyone who draws nigh unto God with their mouth, and who honours Him with their lips, but whose hearts are far from Him30—i.e., apostate Protestants.
Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
The one true God—who through His faithful servants saith with a loud cry, “Come out of her, my people”,31—is now gathering unto Himself His one true church. Spiritual Babylon is alive and well today, but her destruction is sure, and all who shall be found out as partakers in her sins shall be destroyed with her at the second advent of Jesus Christ our Lord.
One needs not to be ensconced in occult practices to be part of Babylon. One needs not even consider themselves to be religious to be entrenched in her transgressions. But, for example, modern science (scientism) and psychology, as we have shown, are branches of the mysteries. These are most certainly religions. Perhaps you do not follow even these, but if you watch still movies, or perhaps it’s secular music. Even these are of Babylon.
Our Great God commands us to be separate, and to touch not the unclean thing. If any should so choose to delay in departing from Babylon completely, even in holding on to some seemingly small or insignificant thing, the same are in danger of the judgment. Let us fix our eyes upon Jesus, not turning back or setting foot off the straight and narrow path which alone leads to eternal life.
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch not the unclean thing; And I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, And ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
