Poisoned Waters:
Remnant Pollutions of a Terraqueous Globe
Many have not discerned that the heliocentric paradigm needs the “traditional interpretation” (the “natural flow” or “initial unformed-unfilled” view) for a literal reading of Genesis 1:1-2. And many have not ascertained that by dispensing with the globe whilst retaining the “traditional interpretation,” one is merely maintaining the globe position MINUS the globe. The only difference is that the heliocentric, terraqueous globe-earth has been substituted for a geocentric, terraqueous flat-earth with a solid dome.
This substitutionary approach circumvents the necessity of reexamining the whole system in light of the Bible’s teachings on creation, and consequently, the product is full of the debris and covered in the residue of the catastrophe of heliocentrism. For there remains an entire surrounding theological system that was produced solely to harmonize a heliocentric, terraqueous globe with the text.
The Introductory Summary position is only deemed erroneous by theologians and commentators because they are imagining and superimposing a globe-in-space in the text. Verse two describes a deep, dark watery abyss, the existence of which is impossible within the heliocentric paradigm without presupposing a terraqueous globe in space. If verse one is not the first creative act, then the text leaves no room to interject a water and land globe in space. But a pre-existent deep, dark watery abyss is completely possible within a line upon line understanding of Biblical Cosmology.
When the heaven and the earth are understood to be the firmament and the dry-land, the only conclusion of Genesis 1:1 is that of a Summary Introduction in which all that exists at the onset of the narrative1 is a deep, dark watery abyss that is entirely independent of an absent and [as yet] uncreated heaven and earth. Thus the deep, dark watery abyss is the environment in which nothing [as yet] exists, and its creation does not need to be accounted for as its beginning is without the context of our world which God made in six days.
Now that all of the lingering debris of the globe have been removed, there now remains zero room for a terraqueous globe-in-space. Thus it is only within this line upon line understanding of Genesis 1 that affords truly biblical – Biblical Cosmology; the only view whereby heliocentrism is an absolute impossibility — something that no other interpretation can yield. Wherefore, the Line Upon Line Summary view is a complete and unequivocal vindication of God’s word.
How precious a delight to every Sabbath-keeping Bible believer who knows that he is giving glory to JEHOVAH in remembering what He made in the beginning! For now, the memorial he keeps is no longer one that makes God the author of chaos and confusion, but the memorial of God overcoming the darkness by the light of His word—
For in six days [JEHOVAH] made heaven (the firmament) and earth (the dry-land), the sea (the gathering together of the waters), and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day.
